Registration Instructions
Behavioral health facilities submit their Case Mix data through CHIA Submissions, CHIA’s web-based transaction service. If you are a new provider or new user and do not have log in credentials, you must register to submit data via CHIA Submissions as soon as possible.
Complete User Agreement
Complete and sign the CHIA Data Reporter User Agreement after reviewing the DRUA instructions. Note that each individual user for an organization must complete the form.
Submit User Agreement
Submit the completed Data Reporter User Agreement to DL-Data-Submitter-HelpDesk@chiamass.gov. You will be notified when your account is ready to use.

Reporting Requirements
Behavioral health data submitters will need to install Hospital FileSecure to encrypt data before submitting it to CHIA. Download the behavioral health file encryption and submission instructions for details.
Technical Assistance
CHIA occasionally hosts Case Mix Technical Assistance Group (TAG) webinars at which hospitals or facilities can ask questions regarding provider data submissions. Look for upcoming meetings below or review presentation materials from previous TAG webinars.
