CHIA collects Community Health Centers’ (CHC) Cost reports on an annual basis. The reports are used by CHIA and other public entities to monitor costs and to develop health care payment policy. CHCs must submit their data in accordance with 957 CMR 6.00 and the filing requirements set out in the cost report filing instructions, which can be found in the blue box on the right of this page.
The CHC cost report is submitted to CHIA through the online INET application. In order to use this application to file your cost report, you must be formally registered.
If you are not already registered with CHIA's INET application, please do so as soon as possible. You can review our INET Questions and Answers, and complete the necessary forms to register as an INET filer.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are granting all providers a 90-day extension for submission. Providers must submit reports directly to CHIA at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than August 3, 2020.
